RESERVE SPACE
To ensure there is space please reserve in advance (as far as you wish) or phone before you want to drop in to confirm space is available.

MATERIALS
You do NOT have to use any specific clay or glazes.   We encourage you to experiment with different kinds.   Bring your own or buy what you need from our shop.  We have a large assortment of COE 96 glass and stained glass supplies as well as clay and glazes for pottery.

HAND TOOLS
We have shop tools available for use for both glass and pottery – or, if you prefer, you can bring your own tools to use.

POTTERY WHEEL RENTAL
We have a Shimpo VL wheel for rental use.  Rental is the same as for Open Studio rental.   We expect you to clean the wheel after using it.

KILN FIRING
We have 3 pottery kilns 18” dia x 18” deep that can fire up to cone 10 (2400°F).   Fire your own load or partner up with another potter to share a kiln load.   We’ll teach you how to load a kiln and encourage you to load your own but if there isn’t time to do so we’ll load it for you.  We will NOT fire damp clay and will NOT candle it to dry it in the kiln.   Don’t bring it in until it’s COMPLETELY dry.   That’s usually takes about 2 weeks.
